Can Sergey Kovalev Be Stopped?

On August 17th, in Cardiff, Wales, Sergey Kovalev (21-0-1 19 KOs) will square off with WBO light-heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly (26-0 12 KOs). This will be the toughest test to date for both men that night. The edge in speed and technique going to Cleverly, and the edge in punching power going to Kovalev. We have already witnessed what Kovalev  can do to a boxer puncher trying to play the matador, Gabriel Campillo is just waking up somewhere as you read this. That leaves us to the big question, can Cleverly find a way to stop Kovalev? He found a way to stop Karo Murat and edge out a decision against Tony Bellew, but Kovalev is a higher caliber fighter than anybody he has previously faced. One thing is for sure, if Clevery wants to keep his title past this Saturday night, he better be able to take a punch.
