The Bronze Bomber One Step Closer to Gold

Last night on an exciting card from Puerto Rico, nobody made a bigger statement than Deontay Wilder. Wilder drilled his friend Malik Scott in the first round and improved to 31-0 31KOs. On paper Scott promised to be Wilder’s stiffest test to date. That was not the case however. With a quick left hook followed by a thunderous straight right hand Wilder disposed of his long-time friend and put the division on notice.

Wilder will now target the winner of the WBC title fight between Cris Arreola and Bermane Stiverne this June.
